CINCINNATI (AP) - Four former champions plan to tee it up Tuesday in the opening round of the 108th Ohio Amateur at Coldstream Country Club.

Among them are two-time winner Robert Gerwin and defending champ Andrew Dorn. Gerwin won his titles in 1996 and 2001, while Dorn, who plays at Coastal Carolina, held off Ohio State’s Michael Bernard down the stretch to win a year ago at Brookside Country Club in Canton.

Dorn went on to qualify for the U.S. Open three weeks ago at Pinehurst, where he missed the cut.

Other past Ohio Am champs include Alan Fadel, who won the last time the event was held at Coldstream in 1995, and Peter Hammar (1987).

The 144-player field faces four rounds of medal play, with the final 18 holes set for Friday.
