WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - New chief judges are at the helms of Delaware’s two federal courts.

Judge Leonard Stark was designated chief U.S. District Court judge effective July 1, replacing Judge Gregory Sleet. Sleet had served as chief judge since 2007.

Stark already has notified attorneys that he will be following new procedures for discovery and document filings in all civil cases.

Meanwhile, Judge Brendan L. Shannon has been designated chief judge for U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware. He succeeds Kevin Gross as chief judge.
