DUVALL, Wash. (AP) - Police in the Snoqualmie Valley community of Duvall, Washington, say a 19-year-old man was killed when he fell into a machine used to distribute beauty bark.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/sY1hD2 ) that Duvall police Sgt. Lori Batiot said the young man fell into an auger on Monday morning. The officer says the victim was an employee of a company performing work at a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

Duvall is northeast of Seattle.
