TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - A Laveen man has been arrested and accused of second-degree murder in the shooting death of his brother.

Tempe police say 37-year-old Thomas Lee Woods was arrested Saturday in the Friday night fatal shooting of Martin Woods during an altercation in a park.

According to police, the shooting occurred as the brothers fought during a family function at the park.

Thomas Woods didn’t have an attorney when he appeared before a judge on Sunday and was ordered held in lieu of $1 million bond.
