NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve recovered the body of a man who drowned at Lake Thunderbird.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the body was recovered at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. According to The Norman Transcript (https://bit.ly/1r2V9uT ), witnesses reported seeing a man go under the water at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Amy Cobalt says the man’s brother attempted to locate him but was unsuccessful.

Authorities say the victim was in his 20s. The highway patrol has not yet released his name.
