SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Caddo Parish authorities have identified the victim of a Fourth of July all-terrain vehicle accident as a woman from Monroe.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said 23-year-old Courtney Kenny was a passenger on a Polaris Ranger driven by 22-year-old Nicole Arbour of Mandeville.

Kenny, Arbour, and a third woman were riding in the Polaris on a dirt road in an open field. Arbour lost control of the vehicle and it flipped.

A Sheriff’s Office news release said Kenny was transported to Willis-Knighton Bossier Health Center where she was pronounced dead.

The crash is under investigation by the Caddo Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
