OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police are investigating two recent slayings and say they have made an arrest in one of the cases.

Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Monday that the most recent case happened at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday when police investigating a report of an assault in northwest Oklahoma City found a man with trauma to his body. The man later died at a local hospital. His name was not released.

Wardlow says police have arrested one suspect in the man’s death and are seeking another.

The earlier slaying was on July Fourth when police found 22-year old Keon Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound at a motel. Johnson was pronounced dead at a local hospital and Wardlow says police have made no arrests in the case.
