RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities in the Reno area are asking for public help to find a man seen last week in a park where a 14-year-old boy was attacked and robbed.

Washoe County sheriff’s officials released a statement Monday saying that deputies were called about 9 p.m. July 1 to a report of an assault at the Sun Valley Skate Park off 6th Avenue.

Investigators were told that a man in his late 20s with curly blond hair and a tattoo on his stomach had been seen in the area most of the day, and may have been with another man who had two dogs.

Detectives are calling the blond man a person of interest in the attack. They say they want to determine any connection he may have had with the assault.
