DANBURY, Conn. (AP) - A 33-year-old Ridgefield woman wanted in a fatal 2013 hit-and-run accident has been arrested after police say she was caught shoplifting.

The News-Times of Danbury reported (https://bit.ly/VS1lLS ) that police took Sarah Allen into custody at the Danbury Fair Mall Saturday and were processing a shoplifting complaint when they discovered the warrant from the November 2013 accident.

Allen was faces numerous charges including second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle. She was being held Monday in lieu of $50,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on July 7.
