VERNAL, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a 5-square-mile wildfire north of Vernal has burned three structures but is now 25 percent contained.

Utah fire officials say they plan to continue putting a perimeter around the Taylor Mountain Road Fire on Monday. Rangers say Steinaker State Park remains closed as crews use it as a staging area.

Park Manager Mike Murray says about 150 to 200 campers, boaters and picnickers were evacuated from the park after the fire started Saturday a few miles away.

Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman Kelsey Birchell tells The Salt Lake Tribune that the three buildings burned included one home and two summer cabins. She says the occupants were able to evacuate safely.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
