NEW ALBANY, Miss. (AP) - New Albany police are putting together what happened to an elderly couple who were found dead in their home on Sunday.

Police Chief Chris Robertson says 78-year-old Carroll D. Mason and his 77-year-old wife, Patricia, were found dead in their home after police received a call from a neighbor who said they hadn’t seen the couple in a few days.

Robertson says investigators are looking at all angles, and are not ruling anything out.

The bodies were sent to Jackson for autopsies. Robertson says no immediate cause of death could be determined.

He says one person was found in the master bathroom and the other was found in the hallway bathroom.

Robertson says there is no indication of a home invasion or a robbery gone wrong.
