SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - The foundation has been laid for an 80-space columbarium project in Scottsbluff.

Television station KOTA says (https://bit.ly/1zmpCJ1 ) city officials began the project at Fairview Cemetery to meet a high demand for cremation burials.

The city website says burial spaces cost $300 for cremations and $550 for full-size plots.

The $60,000 dollar project is expected to be finished by summer’s end.
