PATERSON, N.J. (AP) - Attempted murder charges have been filed against a northern New Jersey man accused of wounding six people during a drive-by shooting last month.

Paterson police say 21-year-old city resident Delshawn Lowery was arrested Monday. He’s being held on $3 million bail, and it wasn’t known Tuesday if he had retained a lawyer.

Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the June 9 shooting, which occurred near Rosa Parks Boulevard and Godwin Avenue Police. They also didn’t say whether any other shooters were involved.

The victims - three men, two woman and a 17-year-old boy - were standing on a sidewalk when the shooting occurred. The teen had a graze wound to the head, while the adults were treated various gunshot wounds.
