NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Dorchester County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man near North Charleston.

Deputies say 43-year-old Anthony Eugene was found shot to death in a home on the night of July Fourth after a fight.

Thirty-year-old Antwan Persay Black has been charged with murder. Deputies said there was blood on Black’s clothes when they arrived.

Investigators found a revolver in the home where Eugene was killed.

Deputies said Black lived in the home where the shooting occurred. Investigators have not released a motive.

Black was still in the Dorchester County jail. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
