SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane City Council praised a zombie apocalypse at Monday night’s meeting with a resolution saluting the producers of the “Z-Nation” TV show for filming in the city this summer.

The 13-episode series employs about 300 crew and cast members plus 1,300 extras - many local residents.

KXLY reports (https://bit.ly/1lQvwbi ) producer Rich Cowan thanked the council by giving each member authentic zombie brains.

“Z-Nation” is schedule this fall on the Syfy Network.
