HOUMA, La. (AP) - Concert organizers say several security units will be on hand Friday to ensure a safe concert by hip-hop star Lil’ Boosie at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center.

Brandon Boykin, local agent with Fiya Mix Entertainment, tells The Courier (https://bit.ly/1mfExzy ) any reckless behavior at the concert will not be tolerated.

Boykin says security will be provided by his company, Houma police, Lil’ Boosie’s security team and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The Louisiana native rapper - whose real name is Torence Hatch - returned to the stage in mid-April, performing shows in New Orleans and Lafayette, after being released from prison on drug charges.

While in prison since 2009, Hatch said he wrote 1,018 songs.
