MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Memphis plans to play four exhibition games during a six-day August tour of Canada.

The Tigers announced Tuesday that they would visit Canada from Aug. 15-20. Memphis will play Carleton University on Aug. 16 and Aug. 19. The Tigers face the University of Ottawa on Aug. 17 and McGill University on Aug. 18.

The McGill game will take place in Montreal. The other three games will be in Ottawa.

In a team release, Memphis coach Josh Pastner said “I’m not worried about wins and losses on this trip. I’m more concerned with gaining experience against good competition.”

This marks Memphis’ first international preseason tour since a 2010 visit to the Bahamas. Memphis last visited Canada when it opened the 1996-97 regular season with a 49-46 loss to Wisconsin in Ottawa.
