TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say three people have been wounded after a drive-by shooting in Tempe that may be drug related.

Tempe police say McClintock High was put on precautionary lockdown around 1 p.m. Wednesday after shots were fired from a moving vehicle on a nearby street.

McClintock is being used for summer classes by the Tempe Union High School District.

Police say one person is in critical condition after being transported to a hospital.

They say two other people transported themselves to a hospital and were being treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries.

Police haven’t released the names of the three people wounded and say they are still looking for suspects in the case.

They say they’re investigating the possibility that the drive-by shooting is drug related.
