GENEVA, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say seven people have been taken to hospitals after a car crashed into a Denny’s restaurant in a Finger Lakes town.

Police and fire officials tell local media that no one suffered life-threatening injuries when the car slammed through the front of the restaurant in the Ontario County town of Geneva around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say seven people were taken to local hospitals, including one person who was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.

Deputies say a 64-year-old woman was driving the car when it crashed into the restaurant.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
