NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - A Cleveland County jury has convicted an Oklahoma City man of first-degree murder and recommended he be sentenced to life in prison without parole.

The Norman Transcript reports (https://bit.ly/TKp13t ) that jurors deliberated for about two hours Tuesday before finding Eddie Thompson guilty in the stabbing death of Arthur Strozewski during a robbery of Strozewski’s home in 2012.

Defense attorneys argued that there is no evidence that Thompson committed the stabbing.

Thompson was also convicted of kidnapping and burglary with the jury recommending life in prison on those counts as well.
