BANGOR, Maine (AP) - A Maine man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.

Investigators learned in 2012 that videos containing child pornography were being shared over a file-sharing network from a computer at 31-year-old Ronald Trecartin’s home in Linneus.

That September, they executed a search warrant and seized two laptop computers and other electronic devices from him. They found child pornography on the items.

Trecartin, who was sentenced in federal court in Bangor on Tuesday, faces 20 years of supervised release following his prison term.
