NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. (AP) - The association representing New Hampshire’s ski resorts says more than 2.5 million skier, snowboarder and snowtubing visits have been recorded for the 2013-2014 season.

Ski New Hampshire says one of the biggest gains is in snowtubing parks, which reported over 120,000 visits, a 6.2 percent increase from the last winter and a 10.8 percent increase over the 10-year average.

The association says the resorts recorded the sixth best downhill ski season on record, and cross country areas posted the ninth best season on record.

Consistent cold in November and December led to strong snowmaking that continued into the spring.
