SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Police in Sioux Falls say a man threatened to stab his wife and her boyfriend at a hospital.

The Argus Leader (https://argusne.ws/1qv7041 ) reports police say the 24-year-old man walked into his wife’s hospital room with their 2-year-old daughter. The man then pulled out a knife and went after the woman’s boyfriend.

The woman’s boyfriend and his brother were able to take the knife away from the man and held him until security arrived. The woman’s boyfriend suffered a cut to his hand.

Police say the man was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault. The charge is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
