BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A shrimp boat has recovered a Gulf Coast’s television station’s tripod that was lost two weeks ago while a reporter was covering the Blessing of the Fleet.

Michael Moore, owner of the Biloxi Shrimping Trip, tells WLOX-TV in Biloxi (https://bit.ly/1kOzLIk ) it is the first time he’s caught a tripod. Moore caught the tripod Tuesday in fishing nets while on a morning tour in the Mississippi Sound near Biloxi.

He says a serial number sticker bearing the WLOX name was how he figured out who owned the tripod.

WLOX reports Christina Garcia says she was covering the Blessing of the Fleet from a boat when a wave hit it and the tripod fell into the water. She saved the camera.

Officials say parts will be cleaned and used for other tripods.
