O’FALLON, Mo. (AP) - Heavy rain is blamed for flash flooding that led to several water rescues in and around the St. Louis suburb of O’Fallon, Missouri.

The rain on Tuesday evening resulted in at least five situations where emergency crews had to rescue drivers whose vehicles were swamped in rushing water. A home was also party submerged near O’Fallon’s Main Street.

In neighboring Warren County, three people were rescued when their car became trapped in high water.

No injuries were reported.
