CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia annual quilts and wall hangings exhibit is on display at the Culture Center in Charleston.

The West Virginia Division of Culture and History says the exhibit features 48 quilts and wall hangings representing West Virginia quilters.

The exhibit that includes work by 46 quilters from 18 counties will be on display through Sept. 8.

Commissioner Randall Reid-Smith says the exhibition is one of the agency’s most popular and colorful.
