ORACLE, Ariz. (AP) - Crews have contained a wind-driven brush fire that forced the evacuation of seven homes in the community of Oracle, about 40 miles northeast of Tucson.

Northwest Fire District officials say no injuries were reported, but Tucson TV station KOLD said two structures were burned including one home.

The brush fire reportedly broke out in a heavily wooded area about 4:15 p.m. Thursday and grew to 20 acres. It was declared contained about 6 p.m.

Pinal County authorities say the fire’s cause is under investigation.

Crews from the Oracle Fire Department, Golder Ranch Fire District and Picture Rocks Fire District battled the blaze along with two airplanes and two helicopters.
