ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (AP) - Gov. Susana Martinez is touting job growth in Alamogordo.

She announced Thursday that background verification company PreCheck Inc. will create 40 jobs immediately in the city and up to 100 jobs over the next three years.

Dallas-based PreCheck currently employs 128 workers in Alamogordo.

The employment and background screening firm specializes in the healthcare industry.

The New Mexico Economic Development Department allocated $75,000 that will go toward the expansion of PreCheck’s facility in Alamogordo.
