ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Two boys are accused of planning a shooting at Volunteer High School in Hawkins County.

Assisitant District Attorney General Ryan Blakewell told WATE-TV (https://bit.ly/1udeiJQ ) a detention hearing was held for the two juveniles on Thursday morning. They are charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and other related charges.

Blakewell said his office is evaluating further charges. Prosecutors have not decided whether to ask that the boys be tried as adults.

A news conference on the arrests is planned for Friday morning at the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office.

Incoming Director of Schools Steve Starnes told The Associated Press that currently there are no summer classes going on at any of the schools.
