HELENA, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Supreme Court has disbarred a Billings attorney after finding he misappropriated client money.

Four justices signed Wednesday’s order agreeing with the recommendation of the Commission on Practice to disbar Solomon Neuhardt.

The order says Neuhardt took client money that was entrusted him and mixed those funds with his own without notifying the clients.

The commission also found that Neuhardt did not deliver funds to a client or the client’s health-care providers received from an insurer for medical payments.

Neuhardt previously faced censure for a conflict of interest in representing a married couple charged in a drug case.

The commission said his violations combined with his history of discipline merits disbarring him from practicing law in Montana.

A call to a number listed to Neuhardt was not answered Thursday.
