DOVER, Del. (AP) - State police say two men forced their way into a Dover home, woke up a woman and her infant daughter and fired shots at a man who was sleeping in another bedroom.

The home invasion occurred Monday night. Police say one of the two men who forced their way into the home was armed, and they confronted a 28-year-old woman who was sleeping in a master bedroom along with her 11-month-old daughter.

Police say the men demanded money and asked for another person who lives in the house but wasn’t home at the time.

Police say the armed intruder shot at a man who had been in a different bedroom and walked into the hallway. Police say the man jumped out his window as he was shot at.
