HONOLULU (AP) - A 26-year-old man has been charged with armed robbery at a Honolulu arcade.

Prosecutors say Faaiu Raymen Faaiu Jr. put a handgun to the head of security guard Paulay Asiata and threatened to kill him if he didn’t show him the arcade safe.

The Honolulu Star Advertiser (https://bit.ly/SQlIXE) reports Faaiu last week pleaded not guilty to robbery and kidnapping. He’s being held on a quarter-million dollars bail and is scheduled for trial in August.

Prosecutors say Faaiu and 19-year-old Toutaimana Downer early April 24 walked up to the Winner’z Zone arcade and were told the business was closing.

Prosecutors say Faaiu pulled out the gun and herded Asiata and others inside.

Asiata wrestled the gun away. Prosecutors say Faaiu fled but Asiata detained Downer, who’s scheduled for trial in July.
