MOORE, Okla. (AP) - Officials say one person was injured after a fire erupted at a Moore distillery that produces vodka.

The fire broke out Friday morning at Twister Distillery, which makes Success Vodka. The distillery is located in a Moore industrial park near another local distiller, Scissortail Distillery.

The company says one employee was injured in the fire and explosion. He was being treated for his injuries on site.

Twister owner Alvin J. Philipose tells The Oklahoman (https://bit.ly/1qbPJPU ) that the blast happened after a still overheated. Philipose says the overheated still caused an ethanol flash, causing the alcohol to catch fire.
