BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police in Bennington, Vermont, say two people carrying handguns robbed a movie theater, cut the phone lines and forced the clerk to go to a back room.

The Bennington Banner reports (https://bit.ly/Jea059) police said one suspect in Wednesday night’s robbery is a 5-foot-9 male wearing a heavy, black sweatshirt, and dark gloves. The second suspect is a 5-foot-6 female, heavyset and dressed in a gray sweatshirt, and black gloves. Both were wearing white hockey masks.

No injuries were reported during the robbery at Bennington Cinemas.
