ROSS, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Department of Health says a brine spill caused by a tank overflow has been reported about six miles southwest of Ross in Mountrail County.

Officials estimate that about 250 barrels of salt brine were released and all have been recovered.

The well site is owned by Statoil.

The Health Department says it will work with the company on a remediation plan.
