NEW YORK (AP) - Abraham romped in the mud in the $80,000 allowance feature Friday at Belmont Park.

The 4-year-old chestnut gelding improved to 3 for 10, with every victory coming on a wet track. Junior Alvarado was aboard, guiding the 5-2 second choice to an eight-length victory for trainer Bill Mott.

The time was 1:44.38 for 1 1/16 miles.

Abraham paid $7.90, $3.60 and $2.80. Touchofstarquality returned $2.90 and $2.70 as the 2-1 favorite, and Groomedforvictory paid $2.90 to show.
