EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - There are a handful of compressed natural gas stations in Oregon that fuel vehicles for private companies and government agencies.

Travelcard Commercial Fueling held its grand opening Wednesday in Eugene. The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/1oX9A3k ) it’s the first one open to the public 24/7.

Owner John Anderson says it’s the fuel of the future, but he’s not expecting to get rich quick.

He expects to build a customer base as more CNG-fueled vehicles take to the road.
