BALTIMORE (AP) - Officials have moved dozens of homeless people out from a camp that was set up under the Jones Falls Expressway in Baltimore.

WJZ-TV (https://cbsloc.al/1oqPIIk ) reports the city says makeshift homeless campsites are a breeding ground for crime and drug activity. Outreach workers had apparently warned those camping under the expressway that they would no longer be allowed to stay there.

The city says the personal belongings of those camping under the expressway will be taken to a facility in Cherry Hill where they can be reclaimed.
