CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - More than half of Clemson’s athletes had grade-point averages of 3.0 or better in the spring semester.

The school released its grade report on Friday. The data came from the University Office of Institutional Research and found that 226 of the 426 athletes competing at Clemson had grades averaging at least 3.0.

There were six teams that reached that mark, led by women’s tennis with a 3.53. Diving and women’s soccer were next at 3.47.

Men’s basketball had the lowest GPA of Clemson’s 15 teams at 2.25. Women’s basketball was next to last at 2.26.

The football team had a GPA of 2.62.
