PALM CITY, Fla. (AP) - A Treasure Coast memorial to the 9/11 tragedy is being dedicated.

A ceremony for the new Martin County World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial will be held Saturday morning in Palm City.

The memorial features a pedestal with a 22-foot-long, two-and-a-half-ton piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center after the attacks.

The Palm Beach Post (https://bit.ly/1iuPxUh) reports dignitaries including U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy will be on hand for the unveiling of a plaque at the site.
