FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) - Pinal County authorities say three foster children have been found and two suspects are in custody in a non-custodial abduction case.

County sheriff’s officials say two of the girls are sisters - ages 12 and 16. The other girl is 12 years old and not related to the sisters.

Authorities say that the three allegedly were taken late Thursday or early Friday by the sister’s biological mother, 44-year-old Veronica Frances Aleksiejczyk Rivera.

The sheriff’s office said Friday night that all the victims had been found and Rivera and another suspect were in custody. The brief statement did not contain any other details.

The Arizona Republic reported that the girls and Rivera and a man were located in Mesa after an amber alert was issued.

Authorities say Rivera’s parental rights were severed, but details aren’t immediately available.
