WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Warwick police are trying to confirm the cause of a five-vehicle crash on Post Road that caused traffic headaches on Father’s Day.

The wreck was reported shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday at the intersection with Crestwood Drive near the East Greenwich line. Police had to re-route traffic off Post Road, a busy main thoroughfare.

Authorities haven’t released details of how many people were hurt or the nature of their injuries.
