LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Churchill Downs says in a release that jockey Rosie Napravnik will miss four to six weeks after separating her left shoulder in a Sunday morning practice spill at Churchill Downs.

Napravnik, 26, will not require surgery after sustaining a mild separation of the joint in an accident aboard Socialbug. She was treated at University of Louisville Hospital.

The Bob Baffert-trained Socialbug, which finished second in the Grade 3 Winning Colors stakes on May 26, was euthanized.

Navpravnik’s injury comes hours after winning the Grade 3 Matt Winn Stakes aboard Tapiture, which ran 15th in last month’s Kentucky Derby. Her 31st victory this spring was second most for a woman ride in any meet at the track; she won a record 45 last spring.
