PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a standoff at a home has ended peacefully.

Sgt. Steve Martos says a barricade situation was resolved Sunday morning without injuries and two people have been detained.

According to Martos, officers responded shortly before 5 a.m. to reports of shots fired at a town home complex near 12th Street and Dunlap Avenue.

He says an armed suspect pointed his weapon at officers before barricading himself inside the home.

Authorities did not release any additional details.
