SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The body of a Las Vegas police officer who was shot to death has been returned to his home state of Wyoming for burial.

The body of 41-year-old Alyn Beck arrived at Salt Lake City International Airport Sunday in a coffin draped in the American flag.

ABC 4 Utah reports (https://bit.ly/1ovV5WI ) Utah Highway Patrol officers saluted as Beck’s casket rolled past. Patrol officers then followed Beck’s hearse and family along Interstate 80 to Wyoming.

A couple killed Beck and fellow officer 31-year-old Igor Soldo at a Las Vegas restaurant June 8. The couple then went to a Wal-Mart, where the woman fatally shot a third man before she killed her husband and herself.
