SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police say a 23-year-old man died when his motorcyclist collided with a subcompact car in east Shreveport.

Spokesman Marcus Hines identified the victim as Derrick Hall.

The accident occurred early Sunday on Clyde Fant Parkway at the intersection with Shreveport Barksdale Highway.

Hines says Hall’s motorcycle hit the driver’s side of a car that was leaving the highway’s exit ramp onto Clyde Fant Parkway. Hines says Hill was dead when a rescue crew arrived.

Hines says the car’s driver, 24-year-old Janee Clay of Shreveport, was not seriously injured.
