MIDDLESEX, Vt. (AP) - Investigators say a fire at a building under construction in a Vermont business district was intentionally set.

The Times-Argus reports (https://bit.ly/1lrgWq2) the early-morning fire Sunday caused more than $10,000 in damage in Middlesex.

The building is next to a bakery, where an employee was working when a smoke alarm sounded.

Firefighters saved the building and there were no injuries.

Vermont State Police say anyone with information about the fire can call them or the Arson Tip Line at 800-32-ARSON. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
