ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) - State police say a man who stepped in front of a truck on Interstate 5 in Roseburg had a history of mental illness and may have done it on purpose.

Troopers say 50-yeart-old Charles P. Earwood was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday afternoon. The driver of the truck was not injured.
