NEWINGTON, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says blasting will resume this week along the Spaulding Turnpike.

The work is associated with widening the road in Newington and is expected to take place between Exit 1 and Exit 3.

The blasting will take place for a few days at various times between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Northbound and southbound traffic will be kept out of the blast zone by rolling police road blocks.

Drivers can anticipate delays.
