MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - One of the most popular outdoor locations for people to get married in scenic Jackson Hole is reopening after being closed to traffic for a year and a half.

Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park offers stunning views of the Teton Range and the Snake River. It’s a popular place for photography and couples seeking to get married there have to reserve the location well in advance.

Park officials first closed the landing to traffic for road work starting in November 2012. Last year, federal budget cuts extended the closure.

This week, Schwabacher Landing reopens following work to fix the road and parking lot.

Park spokeswoman Jackie Skaggs tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide (https://bit.ly/1pMC9T5) many couples were disappointed they couldn’t get married at Schwabacher Landing last year.
